Our Humble Beginnings
Mid Michigan Garage Door was built on a strong foundation of hard work and hands-on experience. In 2006, the Riggie family launched their first business — a pole barn construction company serving communities across Michigan, from Newberry in the Upper Peninsula to Battle Creek in the Lower Peninsula. Over seven years, they built nearly 200 pole barns and installed thousands of residential and commercial garage doors along the way.
By 2014, it was time for a new direction. With years of experience and a clear vision, the family asked, “What’s next?” In 2015, that answer became Mid Michigan Garage Door — a company dedicated to specializing in garage door installation, repair, and service across Mid Michigan.
